Porter-Waters Debate

This debate was held November 7-10, 1950 in Quincy, Illinois. Four propositions involving two questions were discussed.

• The number of cups (drinking vessels) to be used in distributing the fruit of the vine while observing the Lord's Supper.
• When the church comes together to teach the Bible, may we divide into groups using women to teach some of the groups or classes?
