A Man After God's Own Heart
When God sent His prophet Samuel to anoint His new king, He said, “God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). When He looked at His new king, He said, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will” (Acts 13:22). Through the Scriptures, we can see what God saw in the heart of David, and we can learn about our own hearts as well.
This study book is offered as a supplement for Bible students who wish to learn more about the heart of man by studying the life of David. It contains thirteen lessons with questions and is suitable for group or individual studies.
